Take syrup. Ascoril which contains bromohexine and terbutaline content in that. Take syrup 5 ml three times a day.

This is for child 4 year old. Studies in Jr. Kg. I feel that my child has difficulty in clarity of speech and speaking in complete sentences. He requires language development. He communicates his needs and is quite good with written work in academics but story telling, language related narration is difficult. Also he communicates only in English. Though he understands our mother tongue Malayalam and Hindi, he communicates back only in English. Is there any way you can help him develop language skills. FYI he was premature 8th month baby, but had all his milestones correctly. His birth weight was 1.8 kg. He is very active and playful child.

If he is able to communicate, written work in academics etc, then the other aspects should be due to lack of proper training. I suggest you to consult a psychologist for assessment of learning disability areas including language ability. I too am from Kerala and I wish to speak to you as well as your child. My daughter 15 months old had viral fever which subsided in 4-5 days, now she has coughing problem with fever & running nose, after giving her anti biotic & medicine. Fever had almost subsided however she is still coughing (dry). I've given her opox, Dolo for fever & couple of times given 2.5 ml of ubigesic+. She has had no relief from coughing even after changing the cough syrup Xpect pd, kedex jr, omnacortil. Blood report urine test is clear.

My baby is 82 days old and he is vomiting a large amount of milk from mouth and nose sometimes after few minutes of feed. But today he vomited like this one hour after feed in morning. And a small quantity through mouth and nose again in afternoon also after one hour of feed also after burping. Dr. prescribed us junior lanzol 15 mg when I told her that he used to choke every time during the feeding hours. What may be the reason for his vomiting after this much time. Does the medicine jr lanzol make any difference in this condition or does it have any side effects? Is that ok to give the medicine to my child? His birth weight was 3090gms and now he is 5160gms.

I am 57 years old, male, asthmatic, diabetic with certain psychotic symptoms, the details of which have been discussed at length and suitable answers and advises have been received. So, only thing I have to say is with medications all the symptoms are under control. Let us concentrate on Asthma. I am on Theo-asthalin tablets, Asthalin and Budecort inhalers and the symptoms are under control. As advised, I am going to stop Asthalin inhaler and switch on a better beta 2 agonist inhaler Serobid and continue Budecort inhaler with immediate effect. My question is: As I am an asthmatic since birth, I require a good Bronchodilator tablet regularly. Due to side effects of Theo-asthalin tablets, kindly suggest a good and a safe bronchodilator without side effects, a list of which is given below: A) Terbutaline Sulphate (Bricanyl 5 mg 1-0-1) or B) Bambuterol (Beta 2 Agonist - Betaday 10 mg 1-0-1) or C) Doxophylline 400 mg 1-0-1 or d) Deriphyllin Retard 150 mg 1-0-1 Kindly advice me.

Dear Sir/Mam, My 4.5 years son and 1.5 years son got cold (sticky running nose) since 5 days. The elder one developed mild cough from yesterday. Both of them don't have any other issues and no fever as well. I was using syp of Cetrizine Hydrochloride and Ambroxol Hydrochloride (3 ml for elder son) from Day 2. But no change in symptoms. So I took them to Pediatrician on Day 4. Dr. Suggested him Syp. levocetirizine dihydrochloride (3.5 ml) and steam for elder son. Should I start this new syrup? Or any better treatment? Kindly suggest.

This syp is pretty much the same as you have been given earlier. These are viral infection which usually settle in their own. However antibiotics are needed if secondary infection develops as evidenced by fever and toxicity. Continue with mild remedies. If the cough does settle within a few days, see a doc.

Hi, my 3 years old son travelled from netherlands to india 2 days before. He was suffering from cold from last 3-4 week. Doctor from netherlands did not prescribe any. While travelling my son was got fever so I have consulted local child specialist after return india. He prescribed "azithral-xl liquid-200" "montelukast sodium & levocetirizine dihydrochloride syrup" "ambroxol levosalbutamol and guaiphenesin syrup" I just checked my son got body rashes in chest and back. He took medicine yesterday and today. Is is for any medicine? Can not getting touch with doctor as it is too late now? What should I do? Please advice. Thank you. Avirup.

Rashes because of medicine are generalised (on whole body) may be child having small pox or any other viral fever causing rashs.
Monitor his fever, continue feeding and consult physician for physical examination.
