Kidney stones treatment depends on the size of the stone. But if it is in kidney pipe then it might cause pain and urinary symptoms. You can start tab solifenacin 5 mg twice daily for 15 days and see how is the response.

For frequent urination please get USG abdomen and pvrv and urine routine and culture and sensitivity done. If reports are normal then start tab solifenacin 5 mg twice daily for 15 days and see how is the response.

I have sense of incomplete evacuation of bladder from past 3 months, increased frequency of urination and lower abdomen fullness. On clinical examination Dr. said that I have enlarged prostate. The results of investigations are. Usg prevoid vol 348 ml, post void 147 ml, prostate wt 24g, volume 22 cc, urinary bladder other organs normal .uroflowmetry was normal .doctor had advised me exena (mirabegron) and alfoo for enlarged prostate. Later alfoo was replaced with roliflo after 2 months. But I am not getting any relief from past one week. Kindly advise me any other medication which can give some instant relief from this urinary obstruction, it's hampering my daily life and even disturbed my sleep as I have to get up frequently for urination. Will be really grateful.

you can stop these medicines and start rapilif 8mg once daily for 1 month. if you feel that these medicines are not helping you then you should plan for surgery.

He will benefit from a re-evaluation for his BPH and bladder irritability both. Needs full investigation including DRE ,CBC PSA KFT urine RM and Culture and sensitivity HBAIC, USG KUB, PVR, Uroflowmetry, Urodynamic study and decision for Medical or Surgical treatment thereafter. Urimax D with Solifenacin for sometime with a small course of antibiotic and bladder training and diabetic control is one option but after full urological evaluation.

I have a problem of frequent urination. It is mostly happens in winter or in Ac environment like in theatre I know frequent urination is common in cold environment but my frequency is more than usual sometime it happens after 10-10 minutes so please provide me some method some food n drinks n medication to get rid of this problem.

Asked for male, 37 years old from Udupi

Age 37. Suddenly developed an urge to urinate frequently both in day and night. Upon ultra sound, prostate was found to be 30 cc. All other blood and kidney tests normal. Prescribed antibiotics (niftran 100) for 1 month, no difference. Then prescribed roliflo 4 (yesterday), now dry ejaculation. Will this affect my sexual life? Delayed having kid and now I am worried. Is dry ejaculation due to roliflo permanent even if I stop the medication after 1 month?

It seems you are having over active bladder. If your urine flow is good then stop taking roliflow. It conatins tamsulosin which causes dry ejaculate, and its temporary, it will reverse after you stop medicine. If at all you require you can take alfuzosin for obstructed flow. For urgency you need to restrict your fluid intake upto 2 litre approx, restrict tea, coffee,alcohol if at all. And you can try tab solifenacin instead of roliflo. You need to consult with your urologist.
