When you have prescription of a dermatologist, it is better to follow it only. Combining them with home or ayurvedic remedies is not advisable. As far as using melaglow, I usually advise my patients to mix with a moisturizer (equal amout) and use.

Tips to avoid getting open pores
1.Fresh aloe vera can be used on open pores as it will help hydrate your skin and tighten it.
2.Banana—run the inside of banana peel against your skin. Wash it after 10-15 minutes
