Hi lybrate-user,
Melacare Forte Cream contains Hydroquinone, Mometasone, and Tretinoin as active ingredients.
Mometasone furoate is a topical steroid. It is not recommended to use this on skin for long period of time without medical advice and indication. Your skin may feel better initially with its use but, it can lead to undesirable effects like flaring up of acne/other infection, unusual pigmentation and dependence.

Hi lybrate-user. Both of these creams are not meant to be used for a long time. It might lead to skin thinning and damage. For glowing skin eat healthy, drink pleanty of water and try using sunscreen and vit c serum consistently.

If you have taken this cream from over the counter without any recommendation for another concerns, I advise you to stop it immediately. Steroid has got few long term adverse effects if not used as per advise. I suggest you use a skin regenerating cream and a sunscreen for 5 to 7 days. Use a mild cleanser. If you don’t know what are...more
