What is a Nasal Polyp?
If you have chronic obstruction of the nose, nasal voice, frequent sneezing, you could be having nasal polyps. It is worthwhile to understand that a nasal polyp is non-cancerous. 1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected.

Hi Lybrate-user. If it is allergy, don't use xylomist drops until your nose is completely blocked. Also, you have to take anti allergy tablets. The day you stop tablets, it will re occur. Start yoga and you will feel little relieved and you will require medicines for less number of days.

Should first check what is the underlying reason for your sinus problem. A baseline investigation of nasal endoscopy and ct scan needed. If supported we must get a skin prick allergy testing too. After a clear diagnosis we should go for an aimed treatment.

You can add a common cough syrup like Ascoril LS , continue Sinerest LP twice for few more days. If fever above 99 degree F remains you may have to consult your doctor
