Hi Lybrate-user. If it is allergy, don't use xylomist drops until your nose is completely blocked. Also, you have to take anti allergy tablets. The day you stop tablets, it will re occur. Start yoga and you will feel little relieved and you will require medicines for less number of days.

Should first check what is the underlying reason for your sinus problem. A baseline investigation of nasal endoscopy and ct scan needed. If supported we must get a skin prick allergy testing too. After a clear diagnosis we should go for an aimed treatment.

Dear Lybrate user, xylometazoline and oxymetazoline are almost same. Both are used to dilate the blood vessels in the nose to remove the nasal block as occurs in cold and allergy. However, the oxymetazoline is used in children who cannot use the xylometazoline.

Hi,
long lasting sinus symptoms need evaluation with a ct scan. If your problem cannot be addressed medically, there is surgical option call fess. But before commenting, need more evaluation first.
