Non-invasive treatments are often tried first. Most of the best-known treatments for ed work well and are safe. Still, it helps to ask your health care provider about side effects that could result from each option:
oral drugs or pills known as phosphodiesterase type-5 inhibitors are most often prescribed for ed (viagra, cialis, levitra, stendra)
testosterone therapy (when low testosterone is detected in blood testing)

Lybrate-user, you have not given your age and indication why are you taking this. Sildenafil is given in specific cases or diseases. It is never taken as a regular feature without any indication. It should not be taken as drug over the counter.
This will disturb you in long run and mindset will hurt you more.

Are you using any alpha blockers for prostrate issues? Then you have to reduce the dose. If your renal and liver function tests are normal then you can take 50 mg of Sildenafil or the dose has to be reduced accordingly. Yes, you can take it occasionally ad needed but 1-2 hours before sexual activity.
