Alopecia areata has a tendency to behave differently in every person. Some get cured after medication in a few months and some may take them years.
How long have you been having this problem? And how long have you been taking folitrax? The treatment options of alopecia areata depend on a lot of factors. It is best to consult a dermatologist in person. Remember to take folic acid tablet while you are taking methotrexate.
