You are on an anti depressant medication. If you stop it abruptly you may land up in rebound depression which is dangerous. 1. Consult your psychiatrist for modifying the medication 2. Don't shy for psycotheraphy which is more effective.
3. Yoga medication, active and healthy lifestyle is needed.
4 do not expect others to help you out. Self help is best help. Identify the cause of your depression and work on it slowly you can withdraw from medication and have better life.

Hi lybrate-user. I understand your worry about the possibility of this side effect. But antidepressants cause erectile dysfunction will be very gross and generalised statement. Though sertraline, the drug you r taking, has a risk of sexual dysfunction in some patients, it is not as common as you think and you need not worry about it as if it happens, it is not irreversible. Treatment can be supplemented with drugs like bupropion which will reverse sexual dysfunction or even on changing sertralin...more

David contains sertraline. The problems you have mentioned are definitely not due to sertarline.
At your age this can be due to hormonal issues, deficiency of vitamins and minerals like calcium etc.
Consult an endocrinologist for the same.

It depends on multiple factors like the clinical diagnosis, intensity of the illness at the start of treatment, the extent of dysfunction, genetic risk and how you adjust when your dose gets reduced or missed. After evaluating these factors, then only your doctor would be able to tell the duration of your treatment.

It's not like that you can't take both medication simultaneously. But there should be some reason to combine medications. If you have optimum dose of one drug than only you can go for combination therapy for same problem.
