Hello, thank you for posting on lybrate. It seems your friend is suffering from tinea cruris and corporis, a kind of fungal infection. I usually recommend proper course of oral anti-fungal drugs like fluconazole or itraconazole along with anti-fungal cream like luliconazole for local application at bedtime. according to history you are having fungal infection and let me know you that in fungal infection you strictly have to avoid moisture and keep that area dry.
You can apply topical 2% sertaconazole like antifungal drug and ketoconazole soap can be used

Jock itch is a kind of fungal infection. Along with treatment it is very imp to take precautions like avoiding hot and humid climate, using an antifungal dusting powder regularly, washing your clothes daily, maintaining proper personal hygiene. Fungal infections are becoming resistant to treatment now a days. Follow proper dosing of oral (like itraconazole) and topical cream (like sertaconazole/ luliconazole. Keep the area dry and clean. Use separate towel for u. Visit nearest dermatolgist. Thanks.

Hi. You may be suffering from fungal infection of groin area for which differnt medications are available like topical luliconazole/ sertaconazole and oral cap itraconazole. U can use cetaphil moisturizer but it won't be helpful if the condition is due to fungal infection. Keep the area clean, do regular washing and ironing of clothes. Thanks.
