I suggest you go for homeopathic treatment to treat it from inside. Treatment will be long term and will require patience as fungal infections are very stubborn and tend to flare up even after subsiding. meanwhile use a mild soap like peers, avoid scratching, wear loose clothing.

Its always better to choose, herbal/mild shampoo. Take care in choosing that should nt be highly concentrated, & with chemicals, more conditioners, which will damage your hair gradually.
