Hello . As you are telling I can get a fair idea that you mother is having vertebral compression fracture. If there is nothing neurologically, I mean no sensory loss or power or bladder and bowel dysfunction then you can continue with the same treatment. Vertebral fractures pain a lot and also take time to heal specially at this age. You need to wear back support for long time (exact duration can be commented only after looking at xray. Pls dont allow her to walk in home also till a month atleas...more

It's a dry socket! sir, it's because during the healing period the clot which was forming was disturbed either due to excessive gargling, spitting of blood soon after teeth removal, smoking or touching the area very often with your tongue. Please visit an oral surgeon who would give you a zinc oxide pack. Keep the warm saline water goin on.

I had anal fissure due to gastric and dehydration. It got healed by adding water, fibre, laxative and flozen aa, zenflox tz in my diet and sits bath. However I have a swelling/tissue from inside which I feel while applying ointment for smooth pooping or pilex. I consulted ayurvedic doc who said it’s sentinel pile at 2 places due to fissures at 2 places. Currently I don’t have pain in pooping/ no burning nothing. Bt this is v uncomfortable and I am having pricking pain sometimes. I don’t sit bcoz I am scared and it feels sometimes I notice it swell more and subside also during sits bath. The ayurvedic doctor suggested ksharashutra but m not wanting any surgical or parasurgical options. Please recommend me some medications by which it can naturally subside in size/inflammation. I don’t think it’s external piles. I think it’s sentinel piles as well like the ayurvedic doctor told me.

Hello Lybrate user. From your history, it seems like sentinel piles (skin tags), and they usually follow a healed anal fissure. They are not of any harm. So nothing to be done except, avoid constipation. No medicine will subside them as they are just skin tags. If they are really bothering you, they can be removed by laser or simply excised under local or regional anesthesia. I won't suggest kshasutra for sentinel piles. You forget about these. But if you really concerned, consult a proctologist...more

What are hemorrhoids? — Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the rectum. They can cause itching and pain. Sometimes they can also make you bleed during a bowel movement.
In some cases, you can see or feel hemorrhoids around the outside of the rectum. In other cases, you cannot see them because they are hidden inside the rectum (figure 1).
Should I see a doctor or nurse? — You should see a doctor or nurse if you have any bleeding or if your bowel movements look like tar. Bleedi...more
