Mr. lybrate-user, With current treatment is your blood glucose level under control? Ideally fasting should be closer to 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c%<6.8. If this is achieved, then one remains fairly healthy. It is difficult to say there is constant body pain. One may look at Vitamin D3 and calsium supplements along with regular exercises. Thanks.

Hello, You need to first have a strict blood glucose control with FBS near 100 mg, PP 160 to 180 mg / 100 ml. HbA1c%<7. Plus you take a good broad spectrum antibiotic for 7 days or so. Thanks.

Does he have any other medical problems. Isolated reduction of EF in such young people is rare until he has cardiomyopathy. This is again secondary to many systemic disease or primary or due to other diseases of the heart. More information Will be required before any thing can be said.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
In diabetes, most often after certain months or years the old treatment may become less effective. SO there may be a need for change or addition of some new compounds or increasing the dosage. Plus one has to give a closer look at the lifestyl modification needed and diet and exercise. Thanks.
