I tried candid cl pessaries candid b cream and also fas 3 kit one kit in one day and again in the next week but these all gave me temporary relief. I was having curd like discharge with itching vulva and swelling at first but then after the use of antibiotics discharge stopped one day. But then itching started after few days and I tried many homeopathic medicines but no one can provide me full relief. Now it's been 7 months my discharge was watery sticky fall and then it become thicker whiter and before periods it became yellow pus like with a fishy smell, this symptoms continued for 3-4 months. Rashes occurred in vulva like heat rashes. Then I again decided to take allopathy treatment so Dr. prescribed me fluconazole 150 mg for 3 days once a day. Secnil forte one tab for 5 days and dc lb 100 for a week with candid b cream. Now it is the third day itching is gone but rashes has remained 30% with vaginal discharge. Can anyone pls tell me should I continue to take the medicines for more days and if yes then how should i. Can anyone tell me the dose? Nd i'm not using any candid b cream don't know but I felt a bit irritated with that cream when I used it in the beginning that means before 5-6 months. Pls help me doctor. Just 2 weeks ago I was treated for chlamydia. Before my partner and I was having unprotected sex as I was trying to get pregnant however after a couple of months of trying we failed and that was a concern. However I developed symptoms of itching, irritation and redness, discharge and odour I thought it was just a yeast infection and treated it with monistat 3 but even after I still had an odour. After going to the doctor she prescribed fluconazole which I took and I also got tested for HIV/aids, syphilis, gonorrhoea, trich and chlamydia in which I tested positive for chlamydia and was given azithromycin. My partner and I had sexual intercourse about a week after using a condom and it broke without us knowing and he ejaculated and it was discovered he never was treated yet so I am concerned that I may be reinfected. I want to know if I should go ahead and get another treatment right away or do I wait? Please suggest to me.

Hello.
Chances of reinfection with Chlamydia are high if once infected and also if partner is not treated along at the same time with patient ie here its you.. so pl get him treated too..theres no documented drug resistance for Chlamydia, unlike for gonorrhoea, so the drug Azithromycin is very effective in cure...
as for retreatment, first get your partner checked and treated...a novel approach is partner- delivered therapy in which pt receives trt and also provides single dose Azithro...more
