Treatment depends on the grades of hairs loss. If it is upto grade 4, then you can try minoxidil 5%lotion twice daily for few months.

U can use oil for hair and not on scalp if your hair is getting dry.
If you want to apply oil on scalp apply 2 hours after application of minoxidil.
Also try the foam instead of lotion of minoxidil. It could help combat dryness and irritation on scalp.
