Yes, salicylic acid ointment is an effective treatment for wart. You can also use another very useful chemical - trichloro acetic acid for warts.

kindly dont use any steroid (Beclomethasone) for herpes.. it may flare up to dangerous level. Acyclovir is for herpes and Salicylic is for wart. Single size shirt doesn't fit everyone.
