I think you have wrong information about lung inflammation .ask your treating doctor about the prescribed medication. Ibuprofen and other oral anti-inflammatory medication (except steroids) have no role in asthma.

How long.If no relief with medicine you wrote.then xray chest, cbc esr to r/o lung infection. Also r/o asthma by chest auscultation or PFT if possible.Avoid dust. pollution and allergens.
