Hi madam, I had abortions my doctor said go for torch test and test results is all igg tests are negative and igm results are positive my doctor suggested rovamycin forte tablets for next pregnancy my problem will repeat or not repeat pls answer my question mam.

You have to take the medicine which your doctor has prescribed you before planning the next pregnancy. You have to complete the course of anti-viral medicine and and give a gap of three to six months before planning the next pregnancy so that the problem will not arise in next pregnancy.

igg denotes past infection and igm denotes current infection.
you must have had infection in the past at prese nt you are not infected .
raised igg values will not cause any problem in your pregnancy

Cytomegalovirus igg level between 620-1400 mg/dl is normal
hsv igg 0.23, igm 0.44
rubella igg- 7iu/ml or less is normal
you have no active infection now.
Rovamycin is the drug of choice in toxoplasma infection which could result in pregnancy loss. So your doctor is giving you the ideal treatment.

Dear Sir/Madam, My Wife having a 14th week of running pregnancy. We regularly consult our gynecologist on every 15 day. My wife's running medicines are Thyronorm, Sustain 400 and rovamycin. Recently she had having started acidity issue. We also consult the same to our doctor. My doctor advice to stop to take/drinking of Milk as Milk is the reason for acidity. As per my knowledge Milk is the good for pregnant woman. So can you please advice us that what is the right? And Why she told us to stop the milk?

hi lybrate user pregnancy is state which tend to aggravate acidity. she had to take ginger garlic in warm water daily some dietary measure like avoid spicy food, roadside food, chat, oily food.
increase fruits and vegetables in diet.
you can take milk I won't aggrevates acidity.

Mam I had abortions in the year 2019 with the reason amniotic fluid leakage in the 4th and 5th months of pregnancy. I used rovamycin forte tablets for three months. Last month I got period on 18th april but this month my period still not came. From last two months my periods are coming late .what should I do pls suggest me madam. But there is no pregnancy symptoms sometimes my stomach is paining. Can I go for a pregnancy test or not.

You should definitely go for the pregnancy test. If positive early registration of pregnancy is must. You may require cervical encirclage at 16-18 weeks.

May try to conceive anytime after stopping treatment going on.
Confirm that all required reports are done before trying for pregnancy as anyone with 2 or more miscarriages need lot of reports.

I am 27 year old. Ihad two misscarraiges 5 mnths apart. The last one was two weeks before when I was in the 14th week. Everything was okay. Suddenly I had severe abdominal cramps andi had my waters bleeding and baby all come out together. Went to the dctr and had d$c done. Di a blood test after a week and found toxoplasma igm reactive. Was that the cause for misscarraige? I have been given spiramycin tablets for 3 weeks and to recheck after that. Is it the right treatment? but ihave read that this medicine is given only during pregnancy and my pregnacy is over no? how long shud I wait to concieve again soon. Will this infection affect again? my bleedings havnt stopped properly again. Having just slight blood discharges. How long will it take to get everything normal.

Toxoplasma test is obsolete. It is not done these days. Moreover igm positive means you had infection earlier but now you are immune, so you can not get it again.

I had miscarriage on 6 december 2016 .now after 4 months we want to plan again. Doctor asked to go for torch test and it came positive. Rubella igM 3.98 herpes 5.98 cytomgla igG 3.05.doctor said to plan on pregnancy but nothing can be done to control these antibodies that has been developed due to infection. Another doctor advised rovamycin forte to treat infection. And advised not to plan baby for 3 months. I M VERY CONFUSED please ADVICE WHAT TO DO. I am 29 years old women, and not getting pregnant, what all test should I go for ,11 months before I had miscarriage, then doctor took blood test of thyroid and torch infection, torch test was positive, she gave me medicine rovamycin forte to continue 6 months, I took regularly after that I again visited 6 months later ,she said nothing ,only to leave the medicine, I asked her why am I not getting pregnant, she said try next month, n again I didn't got pregnant, kindly suggest me what to do, please sir kindly look at my problem, n try to answer quickly, thank you.

After 9 month from may marriage we took chance for pregnancy and I was pregnant. Everything is fine in first sonography, after 3 month I faced heavy bleeding .i checked sonography the doctor says baby is not alive and not increased as compare to three month baby. Doctor completed next procedure. Doctor suggest me to checked torch test and got positive. Rubella igg 90.90 and cmv igg >250 .doctor suggested torchnil and rovamycin for 21 -21 days course and nirocile cyrub. Now I want healthy baby .is this possible?

Yes it is possible to have a healthy baby. You have get tested again till you are igm negative. Use contraception till igm is negative. Igg is not important.
