How high was your triglycerides? Rosuvas is for LDL cholesterol. F is fenofibrate, for people with triglycerides above 600. Fenofibrate is started directly only if there is very high triglycerides due to fasting chylomicronemia and if no cause like alcohol, diabetes, or very restricted diet is present, which can be corrected. Suggest you discuss your problem on phone. Best wishes.

Food does not change blood cholesterol, so whatever diet you take he numbers will be similar. One must take care of cholesterol if it is ALWAYS above 320. 275 is good, so best not to measure it again. Exercise helps to lower cholesterol. Rosuvastatin is required for people who already have heart trouble. Taking it before you fall sick is not so helpful. If you wish to avoid heart trouble discuss diet with people who are healthy at ninety. That is the sensible way.

Swelling of legs can be caused by many reasons like anemia, hypoalbuminemia, congestive cardiac failure, hypothyroidism. None of the medicines you use cause swelling. Consult a cardiologist and get a 2d echo done. Thank you.
