My mother aged 75 years diagnosed with parkinsons disease for the past 6 years is on syndopa plus-4 tabs a day and ropark 3 tabs a day. Past 3 months she has tremors on hands, stiffness in neck and legs, very difficulty in walking and exterme anxiety. And depression. What can be done?

I am male aged 57 years. In 1998, I had l4-l5 disc prolapse. After getting treatment for 5 years I was alright. But now since last 3 years, my calf muscles have become very stiff, unable to walk freely, developed gait problem (body disbalance) and sleeplessness. Presently I am using ropark 1 mg. Tab. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part.
Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder.
Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful
Do hot fomantation.
Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days.
Caldikind plus 1tab od x10.
Do neck, back & general exercises.
It may have to be further investigated.
You will need other supportive medicines also.

Hello Sir, My father is 67 years old diagnosis with drug induced Parkinson 3 months before. Doctor gave Ropark 0.5, 2 times a day. Also we started some aayurvedic treatment. Am not sure which one helped by he was ok also improved his daily walk from 0.5 km to 2 km. But 4 weeks back again his energy level decreased and now he walk only 0.5 km in home only. Doctor ask syndopa plus half 4 times a day for 1 month, we gave it for 2 days only and it did not suit to him. He was very uncomfortable and start unusual movements like he is very serious patient and start bouncing in bed. But if we don't give syndopa plus then he is quite ok only on Ropark 0.5 2 times a day. Please advice as am very confused and concerned because doctor asked to increase syndopa plus dose from half to one 4 times a day and he said syndopa plus is best drug and I see it do not suit to father.

I am taking treatment from neurologist doctors wih medicines like ropark tablets ,todomate tablets and essclers tablets. In addition to i am doing daily one hour yoga and pranayam morning walk upto 4 km and also panchakrma and Ayurvedic Medicines . But I am not getting relief .Please suggest me a suitable treatment for parkinson disease

I was diagnosed as having parkinson about 25 years ago and I have been on medication for the same. Recently I underwent dat and pet scan. Dat was negative for parkinson. Pet show depression. I have gait problem. Problem in movements, poor balance. I have consulted top neurologist but same medication which helps but ;not much. Ropark 2 mg and amantrel tds. Relgin 1 mg od, pacitane half od. Is there any hope for improvement. If it is not parkinson what it is? Charges for the consultation if any will be paid.
