Alzheimer's disease is a progressive brain disease in which brain tissue shrink and degenerate with time and it is not treatable. Only during initial few years some symptomatic treatment may be helpful. Urine problem usually occurs gradually towards late stage of disease. It is difficult to treat. You may take terol la for some symptomatic releif of urine problem. Better take help of your neurologist.

This is due to overactive bladder. Get is USG abdomen. If his postvoid urine is less than 50 ml give him tolterodine 4 mg inthe night. Any problem get back to me.

She should drink plenty of fluids orally. Her urine culture sensitivity test may direct further need of antibiotics. Alkalinizing liquids like Syp Cital 15 ml diluted in a glass of water after meals twice to thrice a day may be continued until the burning stops. Hi Mr. lybrate-user. What you are experiencing might be what we call chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (cpps).
