Dear sir, I am suffering from BPH. Prostate enlargement and I am taking silodosin 8 mg. This leads to erectile dysfunction problem. I have already taken alfoo which causes palpitation. Can you suggest different medicine for BPH which has minimum side effects.

Every medicine for bph will have some side effects. Because you are sexually active for you alfoo is best. Otherwise other common drug is dutas t.it has tamsulosin which causes retrograde ejaculation. If you have completed your family you can try this.

Please get USG abdomen and pvrv and urine routine and culture done. If normal then start tab tolterodine 4 mg once daily for 15 days. Get back with report.

This is due to overactive bladder. Get is USG abdomen. If his postvoid urine is less than 50 ml give him tolterodine 4 mg inthe night. Any problem get back to me.

Hi I am having a frequent urination last night .i can't sleep full night. I have going for pee ateast 50 times and urine also coming too less at that time. Whenever I lie down on bed again I have a urge to go to pee. I am not drinking much water after this issue kindly refer what is the issue. Ureteric stone unlikely to cause this. An alpha adrenergic blocker like tamsulosin given for medical expulsion therapy in ureteric calculus can result retrograde ejaculation.

You have been prescribed a combination of tamsulosin and dutasteride for a prostate size of 33 grams, if you feel that your are passing urine satisfactorily then visit your urologist and get a uroflowmetry and an ultrasound kub with post void residual urine check done, if your urologist finds the results satisfactory then he may start you on plain tamsulosin.

Use dutas-t (dutasteride + tamsulosin) once daily. If symptoms persists even after 2 weeks, consult a urologist to rule out other causes and urinary infecion. Rule out diabetes and check kidney function also.

Little difficult for a 9 mm stone to pass out. You try tamsulosin 0.4 mg and drink plenty of fluid daily around 4-5 litres.
