You may switch over to alternative drugs to tamsulosin and see response or you may additionally take other drug such as pde5 inhibitors with your urologists consultation. See for one more month. If not much response then go for procedure such as turp. Uroflowmetry test will guide better.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, flokind contains tamsulosin, which has basically similar action as silodal, although the salts are different, if you have any renal problem, then you may shift over to flokind, otherwise, silodal is just as good.

Flokind d 0.4 mg/0.5 mg tablet is a combination of two medicines: tamsulosin and dutasteride, which relieves the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so as to allow easy passage of urine. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor which helps in shrinking the prostate by decreasing the level of the hormone which helps the prostate gland grow.

Well. Contiflo contains tamsulosin an alpha blocker. It is used routinely for benign hyperplasia of prostate. It has a role in lower ureteric stones and ureterovesical junction stones as it helps to evacuate them. However in a kidney stone it does not have much role. Your stone size is very small. Take lots of fluids and exercise. You can try cystone tabs. However I don't think contiflo has much role in kidney stones as such. Regards.

Dynapres 0.4 is tamsulosin, its a non selective alpha blocker which helps in reducing resistance in the prostatic urethra and helps in achieving a good urine flow in patients with enlarged prostate, in long term use, you need to discontinue it 2 weeks prior to any planned ophthalmic surgery i.e. Cataract surgery.
