antipsychotic is the drug which regulates your thinking, perception and mood. also it may be used for various other reasons. The generation of antipsychotics just determines its time of invention of molecule - both of these are efficacious and good medicines.

I really wonder why are you on so many medication for a single problem. If you are having only depression, then you should be on one medication but in good doses.

Hello and welcome to Lybrate. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Sizodon 0.5 mg tablet belongs to the drug group known as atypical antipsychotic, used in the treatment of psychotic disorders. This medication can treat schizophrenia and manic depression, both symptoms of bipolar disorder. It is also used for treating irritability symptoms in children suffering from autism.
I suggest telephonic counseling for you.
You can contact me for further advice and treatment options. ...more

Hello,
It seems that the diagnosis of schizophrenia has been confirmed and she has placed on medication. there is an urgent need for her to continue the medication and schizophrenia needs to be controlled. IVF can be carried out at the same time. But remember that medication for schizophrenia is must for her. there is no definite proof as yet that resperidone can harm the fetus and it shouyld be used as the benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to fetus

Good morning,
We now have medications that do not have the same side effects of the medication for schizophrenia that you mention. I believe you brother needs to switch either gradually from the medication that he is currently on to a more benign although potent medication. An expert psychiatrist is who you need to consult. I believe this can be done online since a change in medications can be monitored for tolerability and effects as usual since you already have experience with the medicat...more

Mostly, people with psychosis need to be on the medication for lifelong.
Since you have consulted a doctor, please follow his advice. You are seeing the difference with the medicines prescribed by him. Your cousin is feeling better because of the medication only. Please do not stop the medication without the doctor's advice.
The doctor must have taken the complete medical and family history of your cousin and only after that must have prescribed the medicines. Have faith in him. If you d...more

I don't think sizodon has any impact on our immune system. There is some confusion about the medications by pediatrician. You could continue medications without doubt and there could be other reasons for kids i'll health which needs evaluation. I would suggest you to take a second opinion about fever and other health issues. If at all you have to discontinue sizodon. You can stop it gradually by making it 0.25 ml for a week or so and then stop.
