There is no such test. When you have completed the stipulated course it is expected that you are cured of your malady. Subsequently if the swelling reappears or there is pus coming out then you will need further evaluation otherwise not. Wish you good health.

Irregularity in taking antitubercular medicines make the bacteria become resistant to standard multi-drug regime. The best option in the treatment for any chronic illness is to find the doctor in whom one can trust and then follow his advise. If there is any problem during the treatment period, feedback should be given to the same doctor.

No. Kindly wait for few days. And start again. Isoniazid Nd rifampin regime is outdated. At present isoniazid Nd rifampin and ethambutol is considered. Nd infact pyrazinamide has less liver toxicity as compared to rifampin.

Hello,
akt once started needs to be continued for 6 to 9 months.
You could do a liver function test blood test just so as to see if akt has caused any hepatic disfunction which is a known side effect of akt
and make sure she takes the tablets in 10 min interval.
U can try to take the tabelts 2 hour after food if she has been taking it empty stomach.
Hope this helps.
