Dear lybrate-user,
nothing worse will happen. Your original complaints may return, if you are not fully treated or you have not found alternate methods of treatment like therapy. It is better to withdraw one of the drug in nexito forte (clonazepam) first and then escitalopram (available as plain nexito - not forte)

Nexito is good for anxiety disorders, zepam should be used for short term and should be tapered down. Nexito can be taken for longer duration and even the dose may be needed to increase. And for few months even after remission of symptoms, nexito might be continued. Along with it counselling may help. Try doing stretching exercises and deep breathing exercises. Include probiotics like dahi, chhach and also some fruits in your diet.

YOu can stop it as you have done and Stalopam Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Clonazepam and escitalopram which have anxiety-lowering and mood-enhancing effects. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine (BZD) which increases the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Escitalopram is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood.

No, you should not take methylphenidate for this. Rather than adding one more medication just to avoid side effect of current medications better option is to modify your current medication regime. You may take these medications in night if you are taking in day or change the medication if you already taking them in night. Consult your treating psychiatrist or take second opinion from another psychiatrist nearby or online. All the best.

Citalopram and fluoxetine did not directly affect penile erection as objectively assessed by rigiscan, although an impairment in the subjective assessment of erectile function was observed, but was significant only for citalopram, and it was thought to be a possible consequence of the delayed ejaculation perceived as erectile dysfunction.
