No you cannot get the disease through vaccination. Hepatitis B is transmitted through infected needles, blood transfusion or sexual transmission. If you are currently infected with Hepatitis B then the vaccine won't be beneficial to you.

Best way to go ahead is get the antibody titres of Hepatitis B antigen done and if its less than 10 then you should get vaccine again else no need for re-vaccination, any unnecessary medication(VACCINE IS ALSO A MEDICINE) can have a side effect

1.Hepatitis B vaccine normally gives protection for 20 year.
2.Anti Hbs level should ideally be more than 100 mlu/ml. 3.Even people having anti Hbs level more than 10Miu/ml are also considered safe.and have very low chance of getting infection.
4.Your Anti Hbs level is good and you are safe, but Since your wife is suffering from hepatitis B you may take one booster dose after consulting gastro enterologist/Hepatologist

Biovac A is a live attenuated vaccine which is supposed to be equally effective as Havrix 720 which is an inactivated vaccine. Biovac A single dose is enough as per the instructions of manufacturers wheres Havrix needs 2 doses at 6 months interval.
