Please note that vaccination is a precaution not a treatment. If at present you are negative for hep b.thats a good thing. Simply stating vaccination against hep b will keep you safe from contracting the disease. Hep B is a virus which can be transmitted through body fluids. I.e sexually, blood transfusion, accidental needle pricks, etc.
The vaccination prevents you from the disease.

Hi lybrate-user,
Vaccines usually cause fever for 24 to 48 hours after administration of Vaccine. If the fever is persisting beyond this period or associated with other symptoms like cold, cough, throat pain, loose stools, then we can think other reasons such as Viral infections.

Hope I have answered your query.
