Retinal vasculitis in one condition which is usually idiopathic (that is without any discernible cause). Although alcohol does not feature amongst common causes for retinal vasculitis but it would be difficult to rule interaction with other drugs that you might be taking or otherwise as a causative factor in rarest case.

Yes. Ideally oral treatment with isotretinoin (avoided if you are planning for pregnancy) should be taken. Peeling is always an add on never the base drug and doctor is treating with approach one. If retinal is dead as you meaning totally functionless ther is no way to treat it.
. There is no way to reverse or to treat retinal degeneration, or the total loss of vision that inevitably accompanies it. Progressive retinal atrophy will eventually result in blindness ..
