My 10 month boy suffered cold, nose blockage, watery running nose past 10 days. I consult near by paediatrician he prescribed syrup amoxicillin 250 mg and syrup. Ambrolite levo for 5 days. I finished course today. Even my baby not improved same symptoms persist. What can I do sir.

Is you child have any allergies. You should do the cbc ,and find the cause of this. And let him give more fluids intake as he can don’t let him dehydrated and if you notice fever and cough I am suggesting to do chest x-ray for him and please take care of him don’t expose unhygienic place and people

Last week I have travelled from Hyderabad to Shiridi, and again immediately from Hyderabad to Bangalore. When I was in Bangalore I had cold, cough and fever with 100.3 degrees. I have taken Ambrodil syrup and Dolopar tablet. Fever is fine now but I have severe cough since last night. Today since a hour I am getting continuous cough, anything that can be done to get my cough down. Between I have Sinusitis and I am not taking any medication for it. Please advice.

This is very common to have dry cough after fever esp after taking a strong anti pyretic like dolo. This may take some time. If it's unbearable and affecting your daily routine you can take medicine after consulting a doctor. It will decrease the severity. Along with medication keep doing gargles with saline water. Avoid taking fried and highly spicy food. Drink Luke warm water.

Give montair lc syp for cold and zerotuss syp for dry cough.
Give lukewarm water to drink. And give home remedy like honey.

Pradosh is my son who is 8.5 years old. He suffering from cough since almost a month. We have consulted a doctor thrice in one month. He prescribed cough syrup initially by name - Syp. Ambrolite D for 7 days. Since cough has not controlled we consulted the same doctor again. He said the cough is due to allergy. So he changed the syrup name - Syp. Telecast-L. But even after change of medicine also cough has not come to control. So we consulted him again third time. He tested and prescribed again Syp. Ambrolite D. & Dr. Mentioned on the prescription saying Diagnosis- RAD. But even today cough has not reduced. Morning will be kind of wet cough & later he will have dry cough. But no cough while sleeping.
