A statin medication can be prescribed to lower cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. Other medication can be used as a blood thinner along with them.
If still in doubt, you may discuss your complete medical history over a call to get a right and effective medical advice.
Thanks.

There are lots of side effects of statins but if prescribed to you your doctor must have condered about them.
Life style modification (like diet control, regular exercise, weight reduction and maintaining etc) is more important to control it.

It is an illusion to think that your cholesterol is now normal. It is under control by medicines. If you continue to go this way you will require the medicine for whole of your life To get a final rid of the same you have to change your life style, eating habits and doing regular exercise.

Tonact should be used by patients of blockages, rarely for any other reasons. TG has no use for heart, it is rarely required, mainly when there is risk of pancreatitis. Suggest you discuss his health on phone, unnecessary medicines can be harmful, specially if taken long term.

From the information you've provided, it seems you have a history of fatty liver and lipid (cholesterol) issues. It's positive to hear that you've made lifestyle changes such as abstaining from alcohol, cigarettes, and tobacco use, as well as incorporating exercise and a healthy diet into your routine.
It's important to manage your cholesterol levels to reduce the risk of heart issues. Statins are commonly prescribed to lower cholesterol levels, and it seems you've been taking them in differ...more

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
Hba1c% 9.2 is showing uncontrolled diabetes. Another important aspect is your bmi of 28.11 kgs/sq meter (normal < 23 kgs/sq meter), shows that you are almost close to be in grade one obesity. This itself can affect achieving glucose control. There is a need to re-look at your over all treatment including diet, exercise, lipid profile and bp treatment. So please come in a private conversation (paid consultation), then I will be able to help. Thanks.

Mr if your sugar levels are not in check first you have bring them under strict control. Because diabetes does affect sexual function. You may take tablet viagra 50 mg about 1 hour before having sex. Try this it may help.
