It must have been advised along with a painkiller. Painkillers have side-effects of acidity so both drugs should be taken together.
And knee pain at such a young age must be investigated further, may come out to be a sports injury.

This medicine (proton pump inhibitor (PPI).) will not cure problem. It only works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. The day u dont take medicine normal acid production will be there n u will have symptoms.

Yes due to gall-bladder stone there could be symptoms of pain/nausea/vomiting - but the pain would be localized to right side of the abdomen.

The pain below navel could be due to UTI also but -- not so severe.
Hence it could be due to the medical disease you are suffering from.
Better advise for you would be to get yourself checked -- do a USG whole abdomen. Urine R/e & culture done.
Also Blood test for CBC/LFT.
