Reheptin Tablet
Reheptin Tablet is composed of metadoxine, silymarin, L-ornithine L-aspartate, vitamin B6 and folic acid. This medication is used to treat long-term and severe alcohol intoxication. It works by accelerating the clearance of alcohol from the blood and also controls the levels of various hepatic enzymes.
After using this medication, you may experience side effects such as diarrhoea, skin rash, drowsiness and numbness. If the effects do not go away even after a few days, visit your doctor for medical help.
Before starting the course of this medication, you are advised to consult your doctor if you are taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs. Exercise caution if you are pregnant or breastfeeding a baby.
Reheptin Tablet decrease the activity of GABA transaminase enzymes. It protects the liver against free radicals from toxins by forming a complex that prevents the entry of toxins into the liver cells.
