Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details and understand your concern. Since you have hypothyroidism, it is possible that if TSH is not well controlled then obesity may develop. There is no mention of your TSH, T3 & T4 levels. It is necessary to know those.
What is your height? It is necessary to know or calculate BMI (Body Mass Index).
As regards taking tablet Reshape or Orlistat, it hardly helps in Indian diet as our overall intake of fats is not too high. On the contrar...more

Take orlistat during or within 1 hour after a meal that contains some fat (no more than 30% of the calories for that meal). Orlistat is usually taken 3 times daily. If you skip a meal or you eat a meal that does not contain any fat, skip your orlistat dose for that meal.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Thyronorm and Cytomel both are same. Only one of those needs to be taken. Any other tablet has to be taken after a gap of well over 1 hour or even longer. Thanks.

It has to be given only after doing your bmi and it is to be recorded every two weeks and if possible I will suggest you to do exercise regularly and eat a low fat content in your diet.

Don't use orlistat as you are breast feeding, any other drug is also not recommended for you as your baby gets 1% of it through breast milk. What you should do is: avoid sweets and oily food. Reduce dinner quantity to half. Do morning walking dailyfor an hour. You will lose weight and become an attractive lady. Good luck.

So doctor prescribed thyronorm for thyroid, meftal for pcod and reeshape 60 mg (orlistat 60 mg) for weight loss (height 157 cm and weight 66 kg. Can I take all these medicines? Is it safe to use all the above medicines? Will not they interact with each other. Kindly tell me if I need to stop any medicines. Please answer for my questions. Asked these question twice already but did not get proper response. Getting answers like" try homeopathy" which are not answers for the questions asked. Just want to know if all the 5 medicines can be taken on the same day.

Yes all can be taken together.
Extra information- acne is common complain with pcod
pcod is a disease where there is a hormonal imbalance. Depending on your complaints, examination, reports, and stage of life treatment differs, and it also needs more time to get yourself treated with patience. Meet gynecologist in whom you have trust as you will need to go for a long time to him/her. Overweight is very common so in case you have that reduction of weight helps tremendously.

Sir. I am diabetic and 37 years old and overweight too. Earlier I was taking glycomet 1000 and vildagliptin 50 twice a day after food and udapa 10 mg once a day .invokana 100 1 hr before breakfast. But recent my doctor prescribed tenepride instead of vildagliptin and after having that for 2 weeks, I started gaming weight. used to have a lot of stress earlier due to work pressure and that resulted in weight gain (dr told. I used to crave for junk food like bun etc and also would snack on oily food every day. So as per the instruction of my endocrinologist I consulted a psychiatrist and he prescribed desevren tablet (earlier paxidep. Now changed) and risperidone. 50.actually Dr. told me to take motyvyst 300 and took it for 20 days. But I couldn't afford it. Also.weight wasn't reduced even after having that. But 5 years ago when I started having jardiance 25 .weight started reducing. My hbai1c is 8.4 .ppbs 210 and fasting (varies. All other tests r normal. Kidney. Liver etc. Is medi slim good option for wright reduction? I am 6 foot tall and 97 kg. But I don't look that fat. Is orlistat a good option? Reeshape or lipophage 60 mg for first 2 weeks and 120 mg for the remaining 2 weeks?

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given. However, I did not see any mention of important info like fasting & pp glucose and current hba1c%, dietary details, extent of daily physical exercise and bp as well as lipid profile.
Another aspect is that drugs like udupa (dapagliflozin), invokana (canagliflozin) tablet motyvyst 300 (canagliflozin 300 mg) & jardiance (empagliflozin) all these are similar drugs, known as sglt - 2 inhibitors, which act by excreting extra ...more
