Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
No one can be fit without daily physical exercise. For diabetes apart from necessary drugs (oral antidiabetics and Insulin Injections), regular exercise, maintaining normal weight and taking a restricted and balanced diet. Are the remedies. Thanks.

You can take a second openion to satisfy yourself regarding which type of diabetes you are having. Type 1 diabetes requires ing insulin as it is due to absolute deficiency of insulin while type 2 diabetes is due to resistance to insulin action hernce insulin is not must and can be treated with oral anti diabetic medicines.

Dear lybrate-user,
juvenile diabetes is incurable till now. But you can go for homeopathic treatment. There is less chance of hypoglycemic condition you suffered many times.
Thanks.

She is having type 1 diabetes for which insulin and food both should be taken at same time daily and regularly. If she becomes unconscious after taking insulin, kindly take her to the nearest hospital to get immediate medical treatment and dont wait for 7-8 hours at home. It can be fatal for her life.

Thanks for the query.
Insulin is usually recommended to be taken half an hour before food. Because by the time digestion of food converts it to glucose, insulin is available for action.
Insulin does not cause any other side effects. Occasionally if food delayed or if inadequate food is taken, then there is a possibility of glucose level going down (hypoglycemia).
If you have any other doubts please come back. Thanks.

Your Sugars are quite high despite insulin & oral medication. Make sure that you are adequately following the diet and exercise regimen. You can opt for a paid consultation to address your concerns in detail.

Since her sugar levels are still in higher range. To shift to oral diabetic drugs is difficult. It would be better to continue insulin. But if you insist on shifting to tablet kindly consult online.
