Both the medicines are used for cold allergy with runny or stiff nose and fever being a temporary medication, need to move for a permanent solution for recurrent common cough & cold.
Drink luke warm water.

u can use its newer drug but give simple decongestant first like maxtra drops 1 ml thrice a day....viral running nose gets correctd generaly on its own in 4 to 5 days no need of medication also...

You can. The point is why would you want to give medicine for cold. Cold is a viral infection which will go away on it’s own. Allow your child’s immunity to fight it. It will improve her resistance to such common infections. Use medication only if she is in genuine discomfort or developed a fever.

During the illness phase children do not take food properly. Also the drug recofast contains contents which has got slight side effect of excessive sleep. As soon as the course of medications will be complete he will be fine and will again take diet as previously.
