Thank you for your enquiry.
That's ok. But your information is incomplete. Also you didn't mention your current blood sugars after changing medication.
Additionally I would like to advise you to do serum insulin and c peptide level for better understanding of your condition and so that I can advise you better. Do let me know more details.
For any further information or advice you can book an online consultation with me on Lybrate. Thank you. Take care.

There is no best treatment, what suits your body (medicines prescribed by the doctor after examining you and based on your reports) is the best for the time being. That means one has to keep going for regular follow-up with the doctor, and repeat the investigations so as to review the line of treament based on the latest facts. You can help the doctor by adapting a healthy lifestyle so that you would respond to the treament in an efficient way. Read more about Daibetes and take informed decision...more

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Usually in diabetes peripheral neuropathy is a commonly seen long term complication. If glucose is not well controlled then it does occur fairly early. To reduce the intensity or to prevent further deterioration one has to achieve a strict blood glucose level - fbg < 100 mg or closer to it, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5% at below 60 years age.
Therefore, there is a need for you to achieve a much stricter glucose control. Hence...more

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.

Hence, there is a need to look at upgrading the treatment, look at the dietary intake, extent of daily exercise and weight control. With a bmi (body mass index) of 30.29 kgs/sq meter (normal < 23 kgs/sq meter) you have an excess of over 22 kgs, this is a major problem in blood glucose control. Plus we will...more
