I have taken ramcor 5 mg (salt ramipril) since long to maintain bp, ecosprin 75 mg and aztor 10 mg also taking with ramcor 5 mg. Since last 3 days I feel headache and today I checked my bp and found 135/100. I want to know can I increase the dose of ramvir or add any new medicine.

My father is 57 years old, he is having high blood pressure and he is having first heart attack on 19. August.2018 on the same day doctor done coronary stent placed in his coronary artery he get discharged yesterday 9.00 pm, doctor prescribed hopace2. 5 mg only morning once a day but today by mistake I gave one tablet morning 9 am and one tablet at 10 pm. What should I do please tell I am very worried. Should I give one tablet of hopace2. 5 mg tomorrow morning to him or not? I searched on Google it shows once in 24 hours is rule for hopace2. 5 mg and overdosing is very dangerous please reply as soon as possible.

Blood pressure should be within normal range/should not fall otherwise cardace or ramipril up to 10 mg BD may be given.

Night dose is correct because maximum medicine needed from 4 am to 12 noon. your medicine maximum effect at 8 hours and total effect for full 24 hours.

Dear doctor, my father (53 years) is diabetic for around 30+years and recently suggested for ct coronary angiogram due to abnormal ecg and tmt positive. Results were mild atherosclerotic (lad mid segment 40% narrowing). He is now prescribed with atorvastatin 20 mg, clopidogrel 75 mg, carvedilol 10 mg, remmag 400 mg and ramcor 1.25 mg. He was already taking insulin with cresar 40 mg, glador, istamet and carvedilol. Now, dr's told him to take this new medicines for lifetime. Want to know, is this the only way? Can't he get rid of this cardiac medicines with better food, exercise and lifestyle changes? If he can stop these statins and clopilet, how long would it take. What is the right way to do that. Awaiting your valuable response.

I was tested positive in tmt. I consulted cardiologist and gone for angiography. The findings revealed that normal major epicardial coronaries with slow flow and advised me medicine ecosprin av 75/20 mg and prolomet xl 12.5 mg and ramcor 2.5 mg. When I consulted another reputed cardiologist, then advised first 2 medicine but not the third one is ramcor. I am confused what to do. Pl advice.

No disease has been found. These medicines are useful after heart attack, not before. For preventing correct understanding of modern lifestyle, and appropriate modification of diet will produce excellent results, medicine based prevention is not the best.
