Hi. I have a mild pain on the right side just below ribs that sometimes goes up and down. It is 1-2 times a week and if I take raciper Dr. 40 it goes away for a few days. I also have burning sensation sometimes. The pain is bearable but there is a kind of discomfort when I have pain. I talked to drs and they say it is acid reflux. One of the drs also said it is h pylori + (i have had h pylori + 3- years back that got treated with hp kit. Another thing is that I have stone in right kidney. So I am usable to determine whether it is stone pain or it can be acid reflux that is causing the pain. please suggest if I should go through endoscopy again (last was done 3 years back) or ultrasound or both or if there is something else you suggest. Thanks for your reply in advance. The pain is on the bottom last rib.

Its acidity/ gerd. You need to do these changes 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. You should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. it will be better to get a culture of your urine and then to check the antibiotic . it has to be specific.rest of the medicines seems to be fine. only additional thing to add is SCROTAL SUPPORT which is again very essential. You should also look for probable source of infection to prevent recurrence. Always use protection in physical intimacy. thanks.

Acid reflux is a lifestyle disease. To cure it you have to modify your lifestyle otherwise you will get temporary relief when on medicine but basically it will not cure or even may worsen. You have to stop spicy fried sour junk food completely. You have to stop smoking, alcohol and tobacco chewing if you do. You can not take onion garlic mint clove cinnamon cardamom also. Avoid all food with spicy and sour gravy. Take small frequent meals instead of large heavy meals. Don't lie down for about 3 ...more

Hello!
sometimes pantoprazole works well (in some people) and sometimes the other in different people. So, you should see in each case (case by case decision). But the question is about side effects or safety profile. In esomeprazole, many people experiences hiatal hernia, stomach pain, burning and in case of panto, many people have dizziness, burning, weight loss. In this context, esomeprazole should be used with caution. Better to take pantoprazole as it is safe. I am sorry for your second...more

Dear user, both are not of the same composition but have the same action on the stomach preventing any type of gastritis or reflux. Perhaps your new physician has seen better results with esofag. You can try esofag but if you do not feel satisfied you can use rabium dsr instead. But esmoprazole has a better effect over rabeprazole in many patients. You can consult me for more doubts and medications regarding this online by clicking on my photo and booking an appointment however, if you found my ...more
