Last year I met a Doctor (gestrologist) and he recommended me with Rekool L tablet for a period of two months to be taken twice daily before meal. Once I started taken the Rekool L tablet my heart burn slowly disappear but after I completed taken the Rekool L tablet again after 2 days the same old syndrome appear ie, the heart burn. So, I started taken the Rekool L tablet without consulting the Doctor (gestrologist) for the second time. But I have reduce the doses from twice daily to 1 tablet daily a day, and I have been taken rekool L tablet for the past 8 months till today. So, Sir! Hello,
each medicine though has a dose and is to be used accordingly, its not fair neither correct to discuss the use of medicines without knowing the disease and the aim of prescribing medicines it will be best for you if you consult the doctor who has prescribed the medication. Else the second best option will be to reconsult a doctor with complete details. Thats the best option for you.

Hi lybrate-user, the gel you are talking about here is for mainly reducing sensitivity of your teeth. It can be used for a longer time but to avoid caries in your teeth the best option is to maintain a good oral hygiene which includes proper brushing, dental flossing and use of a good mouth wash. And last but not the least regular visit to you local dentist for check ups.
