Even if the medication has to be stopped, kindly do it after discussing it with your psych...more

Since you are already on medication I suggest you talk to your treating Psychiatrist and convey your current symptoms to them. It is possible that some changes in medication dosages will help improve the symptoms. As they are familiar with your history it is always better to have a discussion with them regarding this situation.

I think you should consult the same physician and take his advice. We as counsellors and life skill coaches can't prescribe any kind of medication.
Pls note all allopathic medication have side effects
though with medication you can also undergo counselling which has been proven to have very nice results for anxiety and depression as the root cause of the disease is taken care of.

No sir you cannot experiment on medicines like this. You need to meet with a psychiatrist and according to his diagnosis s/he will prescribe suitable medicines and dosages to begin with. There is no doubt that this disease is debilitating but you must persevere not only with the medication but also with counseling. Dear Sir If you are feeling fine with the medications and do not hand any side effect, it is OK to take them. A lot of people with schizophrenia respond to more than one antipsychoyics and are on multiple medication. Please do not stop or alter the medication without consulting your psychiatrist.

Hello dear Lybrate user, thanks for intelligent query.
If the purpose of qutipin is just for sedation than it should be 25-50 MG, if not adequate sedation with 50 MG, can go upto 100 MG in some cases.
Amisulpride 400 mg is perfect dose.
All the best.

Dementia is progressive detoriation of brain. Which causes various behavioural and psychological symptoms along with memory impairment. The medicines in dementia are usually given to control these syptoms. But unfortunately we don't have anything which can reverse or cure the problem. For adjustment of medicine meet your psychiatrist at specified intervals.

If formula 1, cars can't reach you to a place, can small cars do the same. You seem to be having resistant symptoms and very high potency drugs including clozapine have been given. 5htpn and l tyrosine are very very weak over the counter health supplements which are very expensive and lack much efficacy. Better come to terms with the illness and aim to select the medication group which gives best relief amongst the one which you have mentioned in consult with your psychiatrist. Good luck.
