Quitipin is an anti psychotic and not for stress, taking alternate days can lead to serious side effects and not recommended in any health guidelines, it is not over the counter drug to be taken as per your wish. Consult a psychiatrist, get diagnosed correctly and take medicine as per his advise and attend review regularly. Your case reminds me of one of my patient who did the same with quitipin and landed in stroke, i.e. Paralysis of one side of body.

Have a positive attitude and go back to your doctor as it requires some patience and some lifestyle changes. Maintain good sleep hygiene (learn about it from the internet ). Learn some relaxation techniques (or learn yoga ). Consider adapting a daily physical activity (exercising everyday can be a very good sleep inducer ). Hello Lybrate-User, if you have only sleep disorder I think lonazep will be better but if you have other psychiatric issues you should go by the prescription of psychiatrist as qutipin is used for mood disorders and schizophrenia.

You need to go for counseling too and through that you can develop skills and techniques to handle your depression. I believe there may be some genetic predisposition or there has been some childhood issue, related to anger, that needs urgent attention. Hello Mr. lybrate-user
try having small meals frequently. Have salads mid morning and have serving of fruits in evening provided you are not diabetic. Sometimes we might misinterpret thirst as hunger. Sometimes even in boredome we eat s lot. Try and keep yourself occupied with activities that you enjoy. And also do them with mindfulness.
