Dear mam, I am sorry for your loss. It must be a difficult time for you and coping with everything could be quite overwhelming.
The first step will be to see your psychiatrist and restart the medications as it had helped you in past. Apart from medicine, you need to work on your coping skills and how to deal with your loss. There is no better or inferior medicine, they act in a very complex manner and varies between individuals to individuals, so consult your psychiatrist and work with them to find the right medication and also side effects and tests need to be done to monitor the medications.

Depends whether it was a sustained relelase / extended release preparation or plain one.
If it was an extended/sustained release preparation then it will lose its effectiveness as long term preparation by crushing it.
So not recommended. (qutan sr)
if it is a plain or immediate release preparation, yes you can crush it.

Dear lybrate-user Long QT syndrome is different than elongated QT on ecg. QT elongation can be due to drugs, low potassium and other factors which can be corrected. Long QT syndrome is mainly genetic and a lot of genetic mutation identification tests are available. Many times it is congenital (By birth).
