Hello.
The priciples of both the tests are same. Ie they are nuclic acid based test.
One looks for proviral hiv1 dna, qualitatively (hiv 1 pro viral dna) and another looks at hiv rna ,(hiv 1 rna) mostly quantitatively. Hiv 1 denotes hiv strain 1.
I would suggest you to please go for 4th gen dual combo test for initial screening, as recommended by naco india and others.
Or you can visit ictc clinic and get test done free of cost. Thanks.

Hello sir. From test results you are not infected with hiv. No need for any further tests. I add here, in public interest, that there is no need to do hiv dna proviral test as 4 th gen combo test is highly sensitive and specific. Thanks.

The hiv dna pcr test & the test is very reliable for detecting hiv in someone recently exposed to the virus and will be highly accurate within 48 to 72 hours. An ultra-sensitive version of the rt-pcr test can detect as few as 50 copies/ml. The branched dna (bdna) assay also detects the amount of virus and has results comparable to rt-pcr.
Pcr viral load is the most sensitive test for detecting hiv infection in seroconversion, though greater sensitivity may be achieved when used in conjunctio...more

The window period is the time between hiv infection and the point when the test will give an accurate result. During the window period, a person can have hiv and be very infectious but still test hiv negative. The window period for a 4th generation antigen/antibody test is about four weeks.

Hello I advise you to go for ultrasonography of abdomen to rule out any cysts in ovary. Taking these medicines which you have mentioned is a temporary solution for the problem as they are sort of hormone replacement therapy. Your weight is not very high so hormonal profile doesn't seems necessary right now. I suggest you to take following homoeopathic medicine and report afterwards
1. Puls. 200/ once daily morning/2 days
2. Saclac 30/thrice daily/7 days.
