That can cause a late or missed period. As well as extreme exercise, weight loss or weight gain, eating disorders, or it could be your body still working out your cycle. However, if it is happening often - where you only have a period every few months or so, you should certainly talk to a healthcare professional.

Provera is a hormonal tablet so yes it can cause change in menstrual cycle. But one cannot predict how many days periods will be delayed. Generally periods appear after 24 to 72 hours of last medicine. You can consult me at Lybrate for homeopathic treatment and further guidance.

That depends on the condition you are taking it for. If it is for endometriosis take one daily for three months, give a break for a week then restart on d3-5 of periods.

Is there any chance of pregnancy. If yes then you need to do urine pregnancy test. It should be done 10 days after missing your period. For example if your date was 10th, then do the test on 20th. Before that it can give false negative or false positive test. If no then get your thyroid profile, cbc, fsh, prolactin, blood sugar fasting checked from some lab.If everything is normal then do an ultrasound of abdomen. For more details you can consult me.
