If your family is complete d why not you go for permanent method like laproscopic sterilization. It is safe .Or if you not want to permanent method than use condom. Inj provers sometimes produces irregular blood spot. Prolonged periods and weight gain.

Both are same test.
You can get HIV PCR done after 10-15 days of the exposure for confirmation of the reports.
You can Also get HIV ELISA test done at 90th and 180th day for confirmation​.
