My 4 year old baby is having allergic cough since 2 years. We are treating her with syp. Levolin and syp. Effrine (chlorpheniramine with phenyl ephrine) daily for almost these 2 yrs. Along with inhalers. Does this chronic use of these medicines will cause any side effects.

You received enough treatment for ringworm. Better to consult a dermatologist. In place of itraconazole, terbinafine can be taken with proper investigations and follow up. Keep the area dry, clean and maintain hygiene.

My son is 3 years old and he is suffering from cough and vomiting from last 15 days and consult with 3 no of doctors. They all said it is allergy in through and seasonal illness and chest is all clear. From day before yesterday cough was not stopped for a minute and he vomit only cough. He didn't eat any thing only think if I will eat it will get vomit now. Whole night he slept only 3-4 hours only. He took kofarest, protussa, chericof, levolin, calpol, Bro-zedex, clarinova, L montus and toff md. I don't understand what I do. He is not seems to well.

Hello. My son is 3.5 years old and weigh 14 kgs. He is suffering from heavy dry cough along with running nose. We visited the doctor and he suggested the lower medicines: Protussa 5 ml thrice a day Levolin 3.5 ml thrice a day L Montus 5 ml once a day. By the day I have started giving medicines to my kid, he has started doing vomits. Today is his third day completed with this much dose. Pls confirm if this dose is not overdose. I have been suffering with excessive mucus for 6 months. I expectorate a lot sometimes every minute without coughing. Just splutter without cough. I do not know where this phlegm come from? I take antihistamine and montelukast medicines but there is no improvement. Excessive mucus production can be due to many causes. Since you have not mentioned anything about the tests that you have undergone, I will advice you to meet a good Chest Specialist. Basic Investigations needs to be done. Depending on the results doctors can take further call on your management. My son is of age of 1 year and 2 month yesterday he had passed 12 to 14 times stool since morning after that I had given enterogermina then the frequency of passing stool has became 4 times today but from yesterday mid night he had fever and I had given a syrup of salt paracetamol125 mg, phenylephrine HCL5 mg &chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg out of 5 ml then fever decreases but again and again fever is coming.

HI, My grandmother is 95 years old female, suffering from shortness of breath, and cough, congestion is so much that while she gasps, she makes noises as if there is lot of cough and she is coughing also. She is doing it very frequently and she just keeps gasping and coughing, we gave her some arsenic liquid drops as suggested by the doctor, I have tried chest and cold tablets, and Dr. reddy's levodropropizine chlorpheniramine maleate syrup too, but no use. Can you please suggest the diet and what to avoid to help ease her coughing and gasping (perhaps it is shortness of breath) as soon as possible?
