I recently had bloating in my stomach went to the hospital a blood test was carried out I was told I had hpylorie. I was give antibiotics clarithromycin 500 mg lansoprazole 30 mg. Flagyl. I got relieve but a few days I was able to go to toilet and poo but now it’s so difficult to poo and I noticed blood in my stool I stopped the medication immediately. Pooing is hard but when it comes no more blood but I just don’t feel too good. And the fact that is so difficult to poo is worrisome I don’t know what to eat and not what to eat I really need my bowel movement back. I have a headache.

Hello. I am 25 years old male and I am facing some problems related to health since last 3 years. When I use internet, my body gets dried and I get weight loss. Hello there, This is Nasrat, 29 years old, I`m suffering form depression since last four years while I have last my beloved brother. So, I took different kinds of medications such as fluoxetine 20 mg, escitalopram 10 mg, paroxetine 10 mg, mirtazapine USP 15 mg, venlafaxine Hcl 75 mg, Lithium carbonate B.P. 400 mg etc. But still I have the same problem, difficulty in thinking (poor concentration, poor memory), excessive feel of guilt, loss of interest in most activities, sleep disturbances, decreased energy or tiredness, feeling of low self confidence, feeling of hopelessness, decrease in activity, excessive or inappropriate worries, anticipation of the worst, thoughts of suicide. Besides, I have premature ejaculation and no sexual desire. So, I`m really disappointed. Are there any solution for my problems? Its mentionable that when I was in Japan, I took Lorazepam (0, 5 mg), Brotizlolam (0, 25 mg), Trazodone (25 mg), Suvorexant (20 mg), Escitalopram (10 mg), Lansoprazole (15 mg) for 8 months, with those medications I felt very well, but unfortunately, when I returned to my country, there were no those medications available, and my depression attacked me again. So, dear doctors Please please please recommend me what to do? I`m not interested to live in this world but, I`m the only person to support my big family. At the same time, I took (Clarithromycin 500 mg, Amoxicillin 1000 mg 14 days), (Lansoprazole 30 mg 3 months) for positive h pylori but did not work. Again, I took (Clarithromycin 500 mg, metronidazole, Amoxicillin 1000 mg 14 days), (esomeprazole 40 mg 3 months) for positive h pylori but still I have the same issue. Dear lybrate-user,
You need a proper diagnosis before going in for treatment. If h pylori is confirmed, it needs active treatment. Premature ejaculation and loss of sexual desire also needs to be diagnosed and treated. At Japan, you were treated with Lorazepam (available in India). Instead of brotizolam, you can try etizolam available in India. Trazodone available in India. Suvorexant is another mild hypnotic. I am 70 years old having hypertension and diabetes for the last 35 years. At the age of sixty I had accrue mayo cardiac infarction and under went angiogram and found 3 blocks in the arteries. Had cabg and put 3 bypass and under medication. After six months of the surgery I had another minor heart attack and done angiogram and found two blocks in the bypass and put two stents. Recent echo results shoes 60% of the heart muscle is damaged and 40% only in good shape. Heart pumping is slow and pulse rate is 40 to 45 per minute only. Now I am having constant angina and taking medications for the heart, hypertension and diabetes. Medicines taking daily Rand 500 two times Imdur 70 one Clopidogrel 75 one Ecosprin 150 one Metolar XR 25 one amlopres 5 two atorlip 20 one Amaryl 1 mg two Januvia 50 one Losar H 50 mg one Losar 25 mg one Lan 30 one Blood test results are normal cholesterol, lever function, kidney function, psa and urine analysis. HBA1C 6.1 Now Dr. Said as per the recent echo test heart muscle is thinned and enlarged little and this caused slowdown the pumping. Any other treatment I should take to prevent the heart from further damage. Please. Advise.

First confirm that your blood sugar and blood pressure is under control, heart rate is regular. Then do an ECG. See if you have breathlessness. If you have constant anginal chest pain, Ramipril, a bets blocker such as Meyoprolol in slowly incremental doses. But you should consult a cardiolgist urgently in this regard.

On 11 jun 2021, steve suffered (a) a bad persistent migraine through the entire day. The migraine worsened when Mr. butler stood up. When he stood up, he felt like his head was going to explode. (b) a bad chesty cough that worsened when he stood up from a seated position or when he moved. He had some phlegm on his chest but only a tiny amount of yellow phlegm was brought up when he coughed. (c) felt utterly exhausted. This feeling was not improved after rest. On 21 june 2021 he was admitted into hospital because steve felt like his lungs were closing up and he needed oxygen to breathe. He was diagnosed with covid-19 pneumonitis, superadded bacterial lower respiratory tract infection and low oxygen levels spo2 with las 85%. He was treated with - high flow nasal oxygen and continuous airway pressure for 8 days from 21 june - 28 june. - dexamethasone for 8 days whilst on respiratory support - bd vte prophylaxis for 8 days whilst on respiratory support - iv then oral co-amoxyclav in the morning of 2 july 2021, he took a liver blood test (alt). The result of the test is that it was rising (24, 52, 85, 225). The doctor said this was most likely related to the co-amoxyclav or dexamethasone received. In the afternoon of 2 july 2021, he was discharged. He was advised to take tinzaparin 4500 units continuously for 7 days to thin the blood to avoid the risk of blood clots in the legs or lungs. He was advised to take lansoprazole 30 mg to remedy his liver continuously for 7 days. On 5 july 2021. Another liver blood test was performed. The result was 300. How bad is this liver test result and is there any advice you can offer to help the liver recovery?

My daughter, she is 14 years young. Since Nov. 2017 she has a swollen neck, problems to swallow, the feeling she describes, that there is something hard piece in the neck. She has shortness of breath. asthma bronchial diagnose since she is 4 years. We went to a good child doctor in April. He sayed that he does not think its asthma, he said she should stop the medicament. Lan air 5 mg daily .because it does not help. Since this time her breath problems getting worser..(Actually she gets a sultanol juice 150 ml from our house. Doctor). But it does not help really. I asked him too make a Lungs CT from her lungs. But he told me, its not possible because she is a child. She is 14 - in Feb 2019 she gets 15 (she is 1,76 and her weight is 72 kg) At the ultraschall investigation they saw that there rezivierend lymph nodes, her face is a little swollen too, and her cheeks. In April 2018 the Blood Value test- the parotitis value where slightly increased. Yesterday she tomd me that she has a massive metallic taste in her mouth. She had a lot weight gain in the last 7 months .abou 8 kg 's, she has swollen legs too and her cortisol was the last Blood value (in middle oct .) to high (in the findings they wrote - the cortisol is maybe to high because of stress because of the blood decrease .) Her Pancreas Alpha Amylase is too less .only 7 (normal from 20-.) She has always pain too in the upper part of the abdomen and laterally. Her sweat smells extreme .right after the shower again. For her is most unpleasant is the swollen neck. Because it looks like a double chin. Nut it is not a double chin. It hurts too. See you need to take second opinion from another doctor. May be it’s a case of sinusitis. U start doing this
1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of AC. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, When there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected.
