Anticholinergic and antispasmodic medications. These medications, such as hyoscyamine (Levsin) and dicyclomine (Bentyl), can help relieve painful bowel spasms. They are sometimes used for people who have bouts of diarrhea, but they can worsen constipation and can lead to other symptoms, such as difficulty urinating.

Medications. Anticholinergic medications, such as dicyclomine (Bentyl), can help reduce bowel spasms that may cause diarrhea. Of course, anti-diarrheal medications, such as loperamide (Imodium), may be helpful. Treating IBD means reducing the inflammation that is causing your symptoms.

Your mother is probably suffering from complications of diabetes. She needs to have her sugar levels in strict control. Taking Ciprofloxacin-Tinidazole for a prolonged period is NOT advisable as it has its own side-effects. Do get in touch with an endocrinologist and get her examined.
