If there is improvement with dothiapin, its dose can be increased further. After adequate dose, it may take around 4 to 6 weeks for its full effect. You will have to consult a psychiatrist for this. It there is no improvement, other anti anxiety medicines can be tried.

You can try to stop the medicine, you may have sleep disturbance for a few days after stopping, but it usually settles down.
