If you use chemical based shampoos, then you SHOULD change your shampoo every few months or else it causes build up. If you use natural shampoos such as reetha or shikakai, you don't need to change your shampoo, and your hair will be the healthy. As for your question, if you want to experiment with shampoos, you can, but change according to your hair type. Try to choose sls paraben free shampoos.

You need to use a good Paraben and sulphate free shampoo to prevent the hair from drying.Person with dry frizzy hair can use a mild shampoo and a heavy protein conditioner.

Hi, I have dandruff and acne, scars on my face. Acne is puss filled and of a substantial size also. I visited a derma a month ago, and she prescribed a shampoo for dandruff that did not work. Post 3 weeks, on follow up, she prescribed a ionax t (shampoo with coal tar). Now coal tar has carcinogenic components in it. Am I at a risk? She also gave me a photostatic (emulsion) sunscreen for my skin but it contains parabens. I feel that she has given me products that contain ingredients that might cause other life threatening diseases to me? Kindly tell me what to do! Apart from the above medications, im also, alternating between a spot corrector nd a scar removing cream at night, with some tablets for acne scars, a lotion to be applied at scalp on dandruff areas. Also, keracnyl pp cream during the day after using the ridacne facewash. Kindly guide me through. I have curly hair, and have developed 3-6 grey strands when she first gave me the shampoo (1st meeting). Thank you.

dear Vidhu,
seems you have read quite a lot about the medications you are applying. although tar is carcinogenic but application of small amounts in the scalp is not particularly as hazardous. so you might safely use it without any worries. ofcourse with sunscreens since you have acne you need to apply a non comedogenic one.(which is less greasy). the parabens are the preservatives used in the sunscreen which help avaoid the degradation of the product for long term use. As long as you are...more

Hello,
biluma cream is hydroquinone-free skin whitening cream that has both synthetic and natural potent skin whitening ingredients and can be used in mild cases of dark patches/spots. But it has paraben, that is not good for skin, so it is not advisable to use it regularly for a long time.
You should use herbal and natural products which will not cause any side effects. Use aloe vera base cream.
Take care.

Hello. You should wash your scalp atleast every alternate day. Shampoo you use should be sulfate and paraben free. Yoga does not have much effect on hairfall.

Hair growth depends on your age or so many other factors like your health condition, surrounding, harmonal issues and many more.By using or applying arnica or joborandi externally to your hair wont show any good result as your hair needs a proper nutrition from inside too.Concentrate on good protein diet and iron with vitamins.with that use a paraben free shampoo n oil, less in sulphates .IT will take time to recover with good homoeopathic treatment.

It is very toxic and harmful. It passes to breast milk or not is not established firmly. Total bisphenol a (bpa) - this is other than phenol disinfectant. In some studies there were no significant correlations between free or total bpa concentrations in mothers’ breast milk. Phenols and parabens show some evidence for endocrine disruption in laboratory animals.
